About Me
Before anything is created, launched, or scaled — there has to be clarity.
What are we building?
Why does it exist?
And what should it feel like, every time someone interacts with it?
That’s where I begin.

Hi, I’m Ava Kianirad
I work with modern brands and entrepreneurs who want more than just good visuals — they want clarity, intention, and a strong foundation to grow from.
Over time, I’ve developed a multidisciplinary way of working across strategy, branding, design, and marketing — not to offer more services, but to understand how everything connects.
Because most problems in business aren’t execution problems.
They’re direction problems.

How I Work
I don’t start with visuals.
I start with questions.
What is this brand really trying to become?
Who is it speaking to — and why should they care?
What needs to stay consistent as it grows?
Creative direction, to me, is not about doing everything — it’s about making sure everything works together.
Strategy, visuals, messaging, and execution — whether I’m building it myself or guiding a team — they all need to align.
The goal is always the same:
direction before execution.
clarity before scale.
Why I See Things Differently
Early in my career, I worked with agencies and external teams — and while the work looked polished, something often felt disconnected.
Strategy lived in one place.
Design lived in another.
Execution followed trends instead of intention.
So I chose a different path.
I immersed myself in every part of the process — branding, design systems, photography, e-commerce, marketing, and production.
Not to do everything forever, but to understand how everything works.
That perspective allows me to see brands as a whole — and make decisions with clarity, not guesswork.

Experience, Perspective & Insight
Along the way, I’ve also worked on commercial and brand projects — both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
That gave me a different kind of perspective.
I’ve seen how real campaigns are built, how teams make decisions, and where things start to fall apart.
It helped me understand something clearly: execution is rarely the real problem. Direction is.
And without it, even the best teams can create work that looks good — but doesn’t truly connect or stay consistent over time.
What I Care About
I care about brands that feel intentional.
Not just how they look — but how they think, communicate, and evolve over time.
• Coherence over noise
• Long-term thinking over quick wins
• Systems that support growth without losing identity
I’m less interested in trends,
and more interested in what lasts.

Who I Work With
I work best with people who value clarity.
• Founders building brands with intention
• Individuals ready to refine and elevate their brand
• Businesses preparing for growth, launch, or repositioning
And who understand that:
good work takes direction.
This is not for those looking for quick fixes — but for those ready to build something meaningful, thoughtful, and aligned.
A Final Note
I approach my work with a simple mindset:
learn deeply,
think clearly,
and move with purpose.
If you’re looking for direction — not just design — we’ll likely work well together.
